What a beautiful and thrilling day. Definitely pushed myself. Here is today’s recap:
Started hiking at 5:30 AM and watched the sunrise from Cascade. Gorgeous! Then ran over to Porter, dropped pack halfway and forgot that I left my watch in there… Bummer. Posted a photo for proof. Ran back to my car, and went back to Lake Placid to enjoy some breakfast. After freshening up, I drove and did Giant fast! Snow was perfect… until RPR. Of course it was unbroken and slow going. Classic. Took me about an hour and a half to out and back it. Ran back down to my car, went to Stewart’s and freshened up a little bit, and then basically just did Big Slide to finish it out! Today put me up to my unofficial sixth round. 276 Highpeak ascents. 

Total hiking time was 8:56
