Somerville Mill Hike

We drove past this trail head hundreds of times growing up and I always wondered where it went.  Took an opportunity to explore this section of the AT today.  Very early on I realized there wasn’t going to be much running because...ROCKS.  It really was mostly a hike.  Started out super misty and foggy with no views but heated up and burned off.  Beautiful hike.  Loved the rhododendron tunnel.  Saw 3 deer, 3 fawns, 14 red effs,several bunnies and squirrels.
