Carvers gap up and down each side, ran up a few sections on the high knob side and most of the way up the bald side.  Large group of college down to junior high kids at the shelter on day 3 of 4, looked like they were having an amazing time so good for them.  Gorgeous sunset and a few families watching on the bald side.  Huge visibility for anything not under or behind clouds, could see all the way to Mt Rogers towards TN and to Mt Mitchell towards the NC side, lots of fog coming into the valleys and a cool nighttime thundercell on the way home.  Good to be on top of something tall for the 4th anni of finishing.  SG/SDG
